MBA wins Aetna Contract.

Kathryn Grant Abernethy has over 18 years of experience in health care management and nursing care provision. She has a broad range of expertise including direct care provision, utilization review, quality assurance, continuous quality improvement, inpatient management and outpatient office and patient care management. A licensed and registered nurse, Kathryn is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte having earned a degree of Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Her goals with MBA are to identify inappropriate billing practices and to expedite recovery of inappropriately billed and subsequently paid funds.

Aetna, the nation's third largest medical insurance company, announced today that Medical Benefit Audits won the bid to audit the companies books. With more than seven billion dollars in annual claims, the deal could mean millions for the specialty audition company. This marks the second major contract in MBA's first three years.

Aetna's CFO, John Smith, says MBA was the obvious choice. "In their short time on the business scene MBA has pushed the bar on every job they've been assigned to. There is no doubt they are competent auditors. The fact that they claim 12% less of their findings than the competition should be good news to our stockholders."

Michael Lilly, president of MBA, says this is just proof that that the American work ethic is still going strong. "Where else can hard work and a dedication to the client still take a company so far?" says Lilly, "Client centered customer service and a willingness to stick to your ethical center are the foundations of Medical Benefit Audits."
